Nuovamacut, a CAD consultancy which has ten offices throughout Italy, is partnering with Virtalis as its technological lead in the sphere of Virtual Reality (VR).
“We specialise in providing advice to firms who supply manufacturing machinery”, said Sauro Lamberti, Nuovamacut’s CEO. “We first saw VR at an exhibition and it made a real impact. We think a fully transportable VR system like the Virtalis ActiveMove will be a real hit with our customers, primarily for marketing purposes.”
Nuovamacut is poised to take delivery of its second ActiveMove and is deploying Virtalis Visionary Render software to take CAD data from its mainly SolidWorks customer base to transform those CAD models into immersive, interactive 3D VR environments.
“Over 1,400 people registered last year for our annual User Group”, explained Lamberti, “and this year on 3rd November we expect to wow them with a live demonstration of real-time, collaborative VR on stage in front of a mammoth 12 x 6 metre screen.
“Virtalis has designed a new super-transportable VR display system to show off its market-leading Visionary Render software for our marketplace and we are busy hiring a dedicated sales team, as we plan to be VR pioneers in Italy.”
