Virtalis Named Finalist in Two Categories at the Prestigious XR Awards
We are thrilled to announce that Virtalis has been selected as a finalist in not one, but two categories at the highly regarded XR Awards! These nominations reflect our dedication to innovation, excellence, and the pioneering role we play in the extended reality (XR) and mixed reality industry. The XR Awards celebrate the organisations pushing the boundaries of immersive technology, and being recognised for our achievements speaks to the level of creativity and expertise within our team.
Our nominations highlight Virtalis' commitment to creating transformative experiences that enhance the user experience while delivering seamless, cutting-edge solutions across a range of industries. Our focus on breakthrough technologies and unique design concepts, backed by our extensive industry knowledge, has been key to delivering powerful and immersive visualisation systems that redefine how complex data is experienced.
Best Education Solution: LED Immersive VR Power Wall for Regent College
The first of our two nominations is in the Best Education Solution category, recognising the groundbreaking work we delivered for Regent College. This nomination showcases our design and implementation of the first-ever LED Immersive VR Power Wall in academia. The Transformative Educational Digital Laboratory features a 4.86m x 2.39m ActiveWall, constructed using a high-resolution 1.2mm pixel pitch SiliconCore display. This immersive setup brings complex datasets to life for students in digital technology, computing, and engineering, enabling them to explore detailed 3D visuals in an interactive, virtual environment.
The innovative use of Immersive Visualisation in education allows students to engage with their subject matter in ways that were previously impossible, offering a more dynamic, intuitive, and immersive learning experience. Interactivity is at the heart of this solution, achieved through an Advanced Realtime Tracking (ART) system. This system ensures the virtual environment shifts according to the user's perspective, delivering the ultimate immersive experience. As users move through the digital space, the visual content adapts, creating a truly personalised and engaging learning environment.
This powerful solution not only enhances the learning experience but also exemplifies how immersive VR can revolutionise education by providing students with a unique and highly interactive way to understand complex concepts.

Best Virtual Reality Solution: Multi-Point of View Interactive VR on LED Wall
Our second nomination is for Best Virtual Reality Solution, a recognition of our pioneering work in redefining shared virtual experiences. At Virtalis, we’ve developed an industry-first multi-point of view (MPOV) interactive VR system on a high-resolution 1.2mm fine pixel pitch SiliconCore LED display. This innovation allows multiple users in the same physical space to simultaneously experience a shared virtual environment, with each user’s perspective tracked and rendered in real-time.
The multi-point of view (MPOV) immersive VR solution represents a significant leap forward for VR Systems Providers, enabling richer collaboration and interaction in virtual spaces. This system can track multiple users’ unique perspectives, adjusting the VR environment to each participant’s position in real-time, resulting in an unparalleled level of immersion and accuracy. It transforms how teams can engage with complex data, fostering collaboration and better decision-making.
This breakthrough is particularly valuable for sectors such as engineering, defence, infrastructure, and higher education, where visualising and interacting with data from multiple viewpoints is critical. Whether it’s examining a design model from different angles or exploring intricate details within large datasets, this solution offers users a dynamic and highly engaging way to interact with virtual content.
